With gas prices climbing, mounting evidence of global warming, and wallets being pinched, my patience for "tomorrows technology" starts to wear thin. Thats why I was pleasantly surprised when I stumbled upon Soundspeed Scooters right here in Fremont, Seattle, selling electric scooters. I've seen many hobbyist electric cars that cost upwards of $10,000 or more - usually out of reach for the average early adopter. YES Yes, yes! Go Electric!

As an owner of an EVT4000e, I just had to comment that my wheels are simply wonderful, easy to drive, and give me such a sense of satisfaction with NO emissions as I tool around town. One of the best things is also one of the problems: it's silent; I can't hear anything but a lovely hum, but other drivers cannot hear me either, (no telltale whine that I'm coming), so I have to be extra-defensive in my driving. I hope that more folks will take advantage of this efficient and enjoyable means of transport.
